Primary Job Responsibilities:

Serves as business partner with Operations management to ensure success of a large site or multiple sites.  Knowledgeable leader of the site (s) HR function with overall responsibility for recruitment and selection; associate relations; training and development of HR staff and education of operations management; legal compliance and investigations; adherence to HR policies, processes and program administration; and the development and delivery of retention initiatives to enhance the overall work experience for all associates and improve morale, satisfaction, absenteeism, productivity and retention.


Typical Qualifications:


Education (if beyond High School or equivalent): 4-year college degree in Human Resources or Business or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.


Experience Target: Typically seven (7) or more years of progressively responsible experience as a Human Resources Manager or equivalent position with extensive experience in associate relations, learning and development, problem and conflict resolution, and recruiting non-exempt personnel in a high-volume environment.  Experience managing, coaching, and developing others. Experience demonstrating extensive knowledge, interpretation, and application of applicable employment laws.  Prior experience delivering HR training and education programs. Demonstrated success in conducting behavioral interviews and management talent assessments.  Experienced in leading positive change.  Call Center industry or related experience preferred.



Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, facilitation skills and negotiation skills.   Proven track record of successfully developing and making compelling written/oral proposals.  Strong problem solving/consulting skills.  Excellent time management skills, planning and organizing skills, especially prioritizing multiple projects/tasks.  Strong listening skills.  Good PC skills with demonstrated ability to use a variety of programs including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook with the ability to assimilate, present, and analyze data as needed. 



Demonstrated business savvy with ability to develop and maintain successful partnerships with both management and associates.  Extensive knowledge of general labor policies and practices including discrimination, harassment, and union avoidance, where applicable, or demonstrating proactive, positive relationships with work counsels or unions as needed. Ability to serve as an associate advocate while balancing the needs of the clients and the Company effectively.  Ability to support all levels of associates by listening, comprehending and guiding them through the issues to desired results.  Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with ambiguity.  Ability to develop strong business relationships.  Proven ability to influence associates at all levels.  Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and provide proactive, effective change leadership.  Understanding of and ability to ensure compliance.  Expert at establishing and maintaining effective business relationships demonstrating company values.  Maintains confidentiality, open-minded, trustworthy, compliance-oriented, flexible, adaptable and team-oriented.


Special Certifications:

Professional Human Resources certification and continuing HR/Legal education preferred.
