SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and interview prospective employees for exempt and nonexempt positions   

Determine appropriate match of applicant skills to job responsibilities and supports administration of pre-employment testing and behavioral interviewing

Partner with site management to understand and anticipate recruiting needs to ensure appropriate applicant flow

Support retention-building activities to achieve and maintain retention goals 

Support Recruiting Manager in administration of all recruiting and employment activities

Collaborate with operations, learning and clients in recruitment process improvement plans

Ensure that performance of each coordinator and specialist are on track

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

At least two years of successful recruiting experience for exempt and nonexempt personnel preferably in a high volume, fast paced customer-focused environment. 

Call center experience strongly preferred.

At least 6 months recruitment supervisory experience for external candidates

 


EDUCATION

Bachelors or college degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in HR or general business

 

 

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

Strong interpersonal skills including strong verbal and effective written communication skills

Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use a variety of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Strong planning and organizing skills, especially prioritizing multiple projects/tasks 

Effective time management skills

Behavioral based/targeted selection interviewing skills

Strong analytical skills

Strong people management skills for internal and external clients

 

 

KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

Proven ability to successfully recruit nonexempt associates to maintain retention and meet demands of high volume recruiting needs

Demonstrated success as a business partner to leadership in a fast paced, customer focused environment

Ability to develop effective business relationships both internally

Ability to influence others and present a positive company image 

Demonstrated ability to adapt practices and techniques to changing priorities and issues while maintaining compliance over employment program

Demonstrated personal drive and operates with a sense of urgency 

Collaborative work style essential

 

 

TRAINING / CERTIFICATION

Behavioral Interview Training is required
