Job Summary

The Sr. Business Analyst will support the team’s data analytics and reporting activities to empower and guide the team in making data-driven decisions. He/she is an experienced professional providing data expertise and technical analysis to support the program and to timely achieve deliverables of the NA Operational Reporting team.

He/she shall provide support in the creation of detailed analytical models by providing insights related to the integration and processing of data relevant to the program. He/she will utilize programmatic and quantitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in large data sets, as well as apply mathematical, statistical, and other data-driven analysis to address business intelligence questions.

The Sr. Business Analyst is also responsible for providing support to leadership, auditors, junior reports analysts, and BI Developers to assist in managing and solving data- and reporting-related issues. He/she is also responsible for performing quantitative analysis of complex business situations, such as strategies, performance, and solutions involving the NA Operational Reporting performance.

The Sr. Business Analyst shall present reports and analytics to the leadership and shall be open in communicating and brainstorming with the entire team on approaches or solutions to a business problem or project.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Provide innovative analytical insights within the NA Operational Reporting program

Provide recommendation on further analysis of findings, strategy for large data analysis, efficient design, and implementation of reports

Conduct detailed data analysis on data used across the NA Operational Reporting Team and clients/accounts to evaluate business processes and improve on/create new analytics

Respond to data - related inquiries/issues in real-time to support the team including the auditors, BI Developers, and Leadership

Perform various data analytics in Power BI or other business intelligence tools using statistical models or industry accepted tools/methodologies

Provide expertise and translate the team needs to design; and/or develop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization

Responsible for developing and executing tools to monitor and report on data quality

Perform process analysis that identified unnecessary reports, processes, and procedures, resulting in streamlining daily reports and reducing repetitive workload.

Provide support to the teams in managing security mechanisms and the governance of data access to all our reports, files and/or documents.

Suggest solutions for moderate to complex compliance opportunities and internal processes, as well as overseeing projects as needed.

Qualifications

High attention-to-details, with high regards to the quality and integrity of data

High degree of demonstrable ability in analyzing data to identify deliverables, gaps, and inconsistencies

Knowledge of data analysis tools with advanced skills in Excel, including Power Query and Pivot Tables

Experience in Power BI, SQL, and SharePoint

Excellent English grammar, writing, and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and communicate effectively to various stakeholders in the organization

Flexibility and capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities on very tight deadlines
