The Research Analyst provides research-based advisory and consulting services to the company’s executive management, regional market leaders, and other internal and external stakeholders.
The Research Analyst’s primary responsibility will be to conduct research, produce written reports to support the business decision making process, work on custom research projects, and deliver presentations to internal customers. These activities involve primary and secondary research, as well as internal and external data analysis. Candidate should possess the ability to communicate confidently in English, think strategically, simplify and synthesize complex messaging and ideas, identify trends and anticipate industry movements.

For our Shared Service Center we are currently looking for Financial planning and Analysis Specialist fluent in both – German and English, to join our Germany Finance department, centralized in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Main responsabilities:

  • Weekly, monthly and periodic Financial reporting and analysis
  • Lead Month End closing process – support accounting & provide Financial reporting / results communication
  • Oversee and ensure adequate input for the financial reporting cycle, act as a point of contact and expertise – deliver explanations and trainings as applicable, serve as a filter for data
  • Support accounting & Procurement resources with applicable information and communication to facilitate period-closing process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the accounting books
  • Maintains & supports Procurement processes & provides adequate control in regards to P&L impact
  • Take leading part in Budgeting, Planning & Financial Control processes supporting the business
  • Support decision makers with ad hoc reporting
  • Maintain professional and friendly team communication
  • Key point of contact for Operational and Administrative team on Finance, Procurement and Accounting topics
  • Administer the Budget Cycle – closely review and challenge financial and non-financial performance of the site with Site Director and Operations team and ensure control of data prior to its submission
  • Provide support to Site management, Accounting, Regional FPA, both in business as usual processes as well as ad-hoc requests
  • Be able to ensure stable remote relationship with Germany team
     
    Knowledge and skills:
  • Finance, Accounting and Business Reporting Background / knowledge
  • P&L, BS control / understanding / experience
  • Minimum 2 year professional experience
  • Perfect English is a must
  • German language Min B1 is Target
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stress
  • Personal integrity - ability to meet expectations with little supervision
  • Attention to detail plus ability to see the big picture
  • BPO industry experience
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • International experience is a plus
  • Ability to Travel
  • Self-driven and responsible personality
  • Meet deadlines and quality expectations
  • Cross-cultural Communication skills / experience
