Job Description

This is a telephone customer service-based role with a sales-based outcome. Sales through service

Your purpose will be to retain as many customers for Virgin Media as possible through tailoring broadband, TV and mobile phone packages to meet the customers’ lifestyle and needs. With the training given, you will be also leaning on your own drive to succeed. This success will be rewarded with an excellent commission structure. You will see a reward for every customer that you retain. 

If you don’t have experience, don’t worry! We are very experienced at providing very specific training. All we ask is that you have a passion for helping people and are able to talk on the phone. Computer literacy is also necessary.

Pay and Commission

Our commission structure is excellent and we have a number of employees that push themselves to understand the issues and managing the customer through the process. They see a regular annual salary of over £30,000.

Basic pay - £18,525pa (increasing from 01/04 to £20,319pa)

Average commission for most employees - £5,520pa

Average salary including commission - £24,024pa

Typical Shift Structure

We do operate in a call centre environment and work over 7 days. The typical shift structure is below: (This is subject to change periodically).

Week 1 - Mon 0800 - 16.30, Tues 0800 - 16.30, Wed OFF, Thurs OFF, Fri 0800 - 16.30, Sat 0800 - 1630, Sun 0800 -16.30

Week 2 - Mon 1230-2100, Tues OFF , Wed 1230-2100 , Thurs 1230-2100 , Fri OFF, Sat 1230-2100, Sun 0800-16.30

Week 3 - Mon 1030 - 1900, Tues 1030 - 1900 , Wed 1030 - 1900, Thurs 1030 - 1900, Fri 1030 - 1900 , Sat OFF, Sun OFF

Week 4 - Mon OFF, Tues 0800 - 16.30, Wed 0800 - 16.30, Thurs 0800 - 16.30, Fri 0800 - 16.30, Sat 0800 - 1630, Sun OFF

Week 5 - Mon 1030 - 1900, Tues 1030 - 1900 , Wed 1030 - 1900, Thurs 1030 - 1900, Fri 1030 - 1900 , Sat OFF, Sun OFF
