Sitel is looking for a Senior Manager, Procurement for the Americas. This role is a remote role within the United States and reports directly to the Global Head of Procurement.  Within our team, you will join an energized and positive organization with a new procurement culture and dedicated to rolling up their sleeves to deliver value-added solutions, products, and services for our clients.

Responsibilities

 

  • Implement category strategies in the region.
  • Manage the “procure to pay” process across multiple locations.
  • Support Category deployment and spend analysis.
  • Develop, negotiate, and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers with the support of each of the company’s operations in the region.
  • Maintain supply agreements/contract for CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Monitor supplier’s performance including pricing, service levels and quality delivery to stakeholders.
  • Manage a team of country procurement managers with 5 direct reports across 7 countries.

 

Qualifications

 

  • International procurement experience in the Americas including LATAM.
  • Category management, contract negotiations and spend analysis experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in procurement.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a regional procurement management role as a people leader.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the use of e-Sourcing tools such as Zycus, Ariba, Scout RFP, Ivalua or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in SAP a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience in supply chain, direct or indirect procurement.

Travel

 

  • Approx. 35% + domestic and international travel.
