Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities

 

The Global Marketing Director is accountable for leading the global marketing and sales support activities related to the company’s global needs.  The primary goals for this role are to lead the design and delivery of marketing projects to help the company achieve its overall revenue goal, ensure consistency and compliance with corporate marketing standards, increase awareness and continually enhance the perception of the Sitel Group brand within the marketplace.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Product Marketing: Planning and executing strategic marketing programs at a corporate and company-wide level, this role ensures the effective planning, development and delivery of all business to business marketing activities in order to strengthen our value proposition and positioning, supporting new business acquisition, organic growth and product diversification.  This includes:

 

  • Continually researching and assessing market and competitor trends.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to business units (Both by specialism and geography) on marketing strategy, positioning, and promotion.
  • Develop and manage brand architecture for Sitel Group’s end-to-end product offerings, including white-labelled products developed via third-party partnerships.
  • Manage product marketing assets including (but not limited to) written content, slide content, sell sheets and videos.
  • Supporting the development of strategic go-to-market plans for new products and services.
  • Leading the development and delivery of internal communication and training plans to ensure effective and consistent use of marketing materials and messaging.
  • Driving the development of new business case studies to support core product offerings, across verticals and geographies.

 

Sales Support: Working as a trusted partner to both the business development and account management organizations, this role is the primary Marketing leader accountable for building cross-functional sales and marketing alignment. This includes:

 

  • Developing and delivering effective marketing campaigns, working in partnership with local field marketing teams, to attract new leads and nurture existing prospects.

 

  • Partnering with Sales and Solutions teams to support the development of best-in-class proposal content at a company level, tailored to the needs to individual brands and opportunities.
  • Bringing new and innovative approaches to help differentiate Sitel Group at all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Analysing and reporting on the success of marketing-delivered sales support in driving lead generation, sales conversion and brand perception.
  • Communicating the latest trends and market data to Sales and Account Management teams to support business development conversations.
  • Identifying and driving engagement opportunities via events and tradeshows.

 

Brand Perception Management:  Working with business leaders and executives, this role is accountable for engaging with key analysts and influencers within the industry, as well as ensuring a consistent brand message is communicated across teams and channels. This includes:

 

  • Leading our Analyst and Influencer strategy at a global level, working in partnership with local field marketing teams.
  • Ensuring all requests for information from external analysts are answered in a positive, accurate and timely manner.
  • Analyse and report on market trends and business intelligence documents, presenting analysis and making recommendations to enhance brand engagement.

 

 

Typical Qualifications:

 

 Education :

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following or related areas: Marketing, Business Studies, English Literature or Arts subjects, etc.

 

Experience Target

Minimum six to nine years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Advanced writing and editing skills
  • Strong communication and presentations skills (both verbally and in writing).  
  • Strong leadership style and ability to prioritize and work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a keen desire to make a difference.
  • Strong ability to build effective working relationships across a global, virtual team.
  • High level of creativity, innovation and customer focus.

 

Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Proven project and team management skills.
  • Strong experience of working within a business-to-business (B2B) marketing role.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret multiple data sources to develop go-to-market strategies and marketing plans.
  • Knowledge of sales process, administration and support needs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work well with sales professionals, senior managers, directors etc.
  • High level of proficiency with various software applications programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other applications in the Office Suite.

 

Travel Required

Travel will be required on occasion, both domestically and internationally.
