Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, Marketing – Americas, the Manager, Events – Americas will be responsible for event activity to support Sitel in the Americas market. This role will focus specifically on the management of events to support our lead generation and thought leadership efforts – strategy and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, brand awareness, association relationships, conferences/events, collateral and demand generation. This person will play a vital role in working with Sitel Group Leaders to execute events that help deliver on our revenue goals. 


•Work with internal teams to translate goals from marketing plans into event strategies and plans

•Research applicable events, negotiate costs, coordinate logistics, manage messaging, adhere to budgets and oversee follow up activities for all Americas events

•Own execution of tradeshows, internal and external events

•Skilled at developing and executing event marketing plans and budgets as well as performing data analysis to demonstrate return on marketing investment

•Ability to develop integrated marketing plans to increase event effectiveness through multiple marketing channels

•Develop and deliver breakthrough ideas and innovative event activities/tactics that attract new buyers and drive engagement
•Experience in building and nurturing strategic partnerships and alliances 

•Regularly analyze and report on marketing event performance, including presenting updates to senior management

•Manage budgets and track project costs 

•Engage audiences and promote event awareness and registration 
•Interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, account management, demand generation and studio 
•Seek unique opportunities that build brand awareness in the marketplace

•Ensure all activities adhere to the defined budget



Bachelor’s degree in any of the following or related areas: Marketing, Business Studies, Communications, etc.


Experience Target:

Minimum two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Strong integrated marketing, social media and analytical skills

•Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

•Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing), able to build strong working relationships

•Possess the ability to evaluate, collaborate, influence and engage in healthy debate and discussion


•Self-driven, assertive and tenacious in your ability to get things done

•Proven project management skills

•End-to-end event management skills

•Ability to coordinate projects cross-functionally
•Knowledge of sales process, administration and support needs

•Experience managing budgets

•Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work well with executives, sales professionals, directors etc.
•High level of proficiency with various software applications programs, including, Marketing Automation, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications
