We are currently looking for an HR Specialist to join our Corporate HR team.  The position is located at our Global Corporate Executive Headquarters on Brickell Ave in Miami. This role has high visibility within a growing innovative global organization.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for administrative tasks related to new employee onboarding.
  • May provide support for a broad range of HR responsibilities.  
  • Supports HRIS administration and employment record-keeping/files maintenance, ensuring compliance, data integrity and information security.
  • Supports general administrative duties. 
  • Cross-trains to support HR team in delivery of overall responsibilities.  
  • May gather and research data and create reports. 
  • Primarily responsible for maintaining compliance with work authorization documents.
  • Supports Corporate HR invoicing process.

 

 

With regard to compliance, the incumbent:

 

Takes personal responsibility to understand and comply with all company and client security requirements and policies

 

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge:

 

  • High school degree, required.  Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, strongly preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in human resources
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build business relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable to change and thrive in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of all human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, HRIS, benefits, employment laws, compliance issues, etc.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problemsolving and employee relation abilities
  • Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to work without direct supervision occasionally
