Job Summary:


Reporting into the Global Security organization, the Manager of Security Engineering will be responsible for the architecture and engineering aspects of cyber and physical security. In addition, leading a global engineering team for cyber and physical security.


In this role you will need to work in collaboration with the Regional Technology teams, Legal, Sales and Operations to ensure client systems are in compliance with applicable security policies, regulations and industry standards. In addition working with Information Technology, Internal Audit, Security and other internal functional groups to ensure that the execution elements of Global Security meet the needs of the Sitel Group, the regional leadership and its clients.




  • Gather requirements, creates security architecture designs, analyzes technical alternatives, provides cost analysis, tests options, prepares configurations, documents and communicates engineering plans.
  • Clearly articulate and keep the business abreast of the benefit to the organization around data loss protection, insider threat detection and prevention, anti-virus, next generation firewall and proxy technology, virtual desktop and server security, multi-factor authentication and encryption technologies for data at rest or in-transit.
  • Manage a team that consists of up to 5 engineers that are around the globe. 
  • Provides input in the development of operating and capital budgets.
  • Disaster Recovery strategy – partner with technology on the design, implementation, and operating efforts for the regional disaster recover models and plans.
  • Work closely with the Global Director of Security Engineering on the development of functional goals and objectives and manage projects that drives initiatives.
  • Work with all global technology functions to ensure that the ongoing education, awareness and execution aligns with the Security Engineering Roadmap.
  • Being a functional leader and resource within the company and security technical lead for the region.
  • Partner with multiple platform and application owners to review solutions and develop best practices and standards that can be leveraged company-wide.
  • Support other areas on the global security around investigations, risk assessments and new projects as required.
  • Support approval process for requirements from internal and external clients.

Experience Target:


  • Minimum of 5+ years of increasingly diverse or complex experience in field of Technology or Cyber Security within a global environment.
  • People management skills and proven experience leading diverse teams both on and off shore.
  • Demonstrated skills in the area of Cyber Security and associated compliance regulations and industry standards, which include, but not limited to:  SSAE18, PCI-DSS, ITIL, ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST 800-53
  • Prior call center experience is highly advantageous given the specialized security environment that will be managed.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a complex global environment and being a security change agent in order to drive improved security controls and operations.
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment.




  • Four year degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business.  Will consider related degree and/or equivalent field experience
