Job Summary

 

The Manager of IT Systems for SuccessFactors Platform plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and development of our HR systems and tools with a focus on the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central module.  This role oversees the Employee Central module product lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch, and beyond delivering innovative solutions for the hire to retire process to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience globally.   

 

The Manager of IT Systems for SuccessFactors Platform manages a small offshore team to drive initiatives as well as perform platform maintenance and compliance activities aligned to technology standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, and maintenance of HXM solutions for global stakeholders using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Champion a user-centric approach to development, ensuring that Employee Central is intuitive, user-friendly, and meets the needs of diverse user groups.
  • Collaborate with other technical and project teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central data with internal and external systems.
  • Partner with the HR functional owners and internal stakeholders to drive technology solutions that improve HR processes and simplify the user experience.
  • Ensure SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is accurately configured to meet global business requirements.
  • Oversee EC Platform team for all Employee Central inquiries and issues to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Monitor trends in Employee Central issues and requests, recommending and implementing improvements to the user experience, functionality, configuration, or integration with other tools.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent work related experience.
  • Proven track record of at least 5+ years of experience in SuccessFactors Employee Central Administration and configuration management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead an offshore functional team, drive consensus, and inspire a shared vision for SAP SuccessFactors product exploitation.
  • Deep domain knowledge in the SuccessFactors Employee Central module and ‘hire to retire’ process including core HR, Time Off, integrations, Workflows, Reporting, Role Based Permissions, Data Privacy (PII,GDPR), Global/Local country templates, Document Generation, MDF Objects, Position Management, and Onboarding.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central product features and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project management best practices.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Administration Certification in Employee Central or willingness to obtain such certification.

Salary Range:

 

The base pay range for this position is up to $115,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.
