About the Job

 

The Manager, Facilities & Projects/Renovations will have a role in managing a variety of facility asset investments, an understanding of Real Estate, Infrastructure, UPS, and CCTV as well as other facilities background.  The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our Director, Real Estate & Facilities to supervise and manage Sitel’s NA strategy. 1) Deep experience and skills in managing a variety of Facility Asset investments, owned and leased space ensuring efficient, safe and effective operations of all facilities around the world; 2) A consistent track record of delivering superior results in a decentralized corporate setting; and 3) Excellent grasp of facility financial concepts, financial analysis, budget formulation, and business case development are also critical.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage Facilities capital spend and operating budget, setting and delivering on annual budgets.
  • Lead negotiations and finalize contracts with respect to construction projects, facility vendors, architects, outside legal counsel,  and others as necessary
  • Develop and present business cases;
  • Ensure cost-effective maintenance of all company facilities to achieve an optimal state of uptime, safety, security, and compliance to established standards
  • Design, Build and Deliver Facility Construction projects ranging from 100K-$10M spend.
  • Work with third parties (e.g., project managers, architects, contractors, and others) on large-scale construction projects, relocation and remodeling projects, vetting all aspects of the project to optimize costs and timelines and achieve overall project goals.
  • Manage change and communicate with all impacted parties throughout the process.
  • Real Estate Lease Administration.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum: 5-7 experience in Facility Management, Infrastructure planning, and facility buildouts / 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from the design phase through to implementation.
  • Experience managing mission-critical infrastructure is required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Experience with selection and implementation of building management systems, end-user facility maintenance request systems and vendor invoicing systems.
  • Proactive, well organized and results-oriented, with the ability to lead and participate in multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Negotiations experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Problem-solving skills a must.
  • Exceptional work ethic, high energy, demonstrates urgency, fast pace and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to drive timely completion and closure of all projects.
  • 25%  or more- domestic and international.
