We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and talented communications specialist to join our committed and hard-working team. 
A communications specialist is expected to be a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
This person should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a desire and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done

 

As a Communications Specialist in this project, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Manage internal communication channels of the company (Corporate email, workplace, intranet, company newsletter, etc.)
  • Assist in the development, writing, editing and publishing of company communication materials for internal mediums, including organizational announcements, company advisories, presentations, e-newsletters and videos.
  • Ensure that all internal communication materials are grammatically correct, relevant for the intended audience, consistent with the established voice, and aligned with the company’s vision and guidelines.
  • Assist the Marketing Director in creating marketing strategies and in designing campaigns and communication plans.
  • Propose innovative formats adapted to our means of communications
  • Assist in promoting the EVP and the “brand” internally
  • Ensure that all marketing materials are aligned to the company guidelines.
  • Adhere to the company’s style guide, ensuring that we produce a high-quality and error-free.
  • Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.
  • Support communication for Employee Experience programs

 

Experience:

  • 3 -5 years of experience in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or advertising.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, English, journalism, business, or related college major requiring strong writing skills. 

 

Skills:

  • Highly driven and energetic, proactive and takes initiative
  • Superior organizational, time-management and collaboration skills
  • The ideal candidate lives and breathes social – thrives off of creating content and communications that genuinely connects with audiences
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and platforms
  • Proactively seeks diversification of knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Demonstrated excellent writing experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects under strict deadlines.
  • Expertise in copywriting for digital channels and lead generation would be a competitive advantage
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
  • Content writing experience for all media platforms.
  • Proven social media and networking expertise.
  • Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A portfolio of work available for review.
  • Fluency in English 
  • Availability to work in Lisbon office
