SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, plan, implement and maintain security policies, procedures and practices which provide protection for the facility, information, equipment and personnel in accordance with business and client requirements. 

Identify risks, research and deploy state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques. 

Direct Personnel Security Program, including pre-employment screenings, clearance processing and maintenance, visitor control, vendor security and internal investigations.

Lead all aspects of the security function including: strategic planning, budget management, staffing, company interface, and leadership of all security operations.

Direct evaluation of existing security systems and programs, and implement new or improved projects and procedures to close any identified deficiencies or gaps. 

Ensure that budgets, schedules, and performance standards / requirements are set and attained.

Direct technical and information security activities including security education; document and material classification and control and records management.  

 

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships.

Excellent ability to clearly communicate - verbally and written - with all levels of the Organization and client. As well as, influence others to agree and comply with security program requirements.

Project Management skills such that they can manage the Security Program - to include all supplier participants who will help perform various requirements for the Security Responsibilities document. 

Must be highly organized and compliance driven.

Requires basic understanding of IT tools, names and acronyms.

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

Cyber Security and / or IT Experience is a must.

 

 

EDUCATION

BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
