About Us

We are currently recruiting for a Renewals Customer Support agent for a leading computer software development company. This is an exciting new opportunity for someone who has software experience and able to perform 1st line support.

Job Summary

Your role is to inform customer their renewal date and promote products and licenses services. You will also process orders through Salesforce keeping record of customer’s interactions and transactions. The successful candidate daily targets are 40 calls and process 8 orders a day to meet client, customer and departmental expectations, through inbound and outbound telephone sales and emails.

About the role

  • Shifts between 2pm - 12pm Monday to Friday (No weekends!)
  • This position is permanent. Your training will be for 2 weeks. Onsite for day 1 induction (in Kingston upon Thames – you must be able to commute) then virtual.
  • This position is working from home after training.
  • Degree or equivalent in an IT or IT related technical subject.
  • In-depth knowledge of either the Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
  • Be able to translate "techno-speak" into layman's terms.
  • Ideally you will have 3 years’ experience in supporting customers

Primary Job Responsibilities

Key Duties

  • Liaising with end users in English (written and spoken).
  • 1st line telephone and email technical support to a wide customer base.
  • Responding to queries effectively, through the use of active listening, questioning and probing techniques ensuring customer success.
  • Advising on the use of specific software products on the Windows and Mac platforms for business users and consumers.
  • Develop excellent quality relationships with existing customers as well as other parts of the organization.
