We are looking for a ISO 9001 Specialist to  promote, manage and ensure the Quality throughout the company, to represent and encourage a continuous improvement culture within all certified ISO 9001 sites.


Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Define the end to end global QMS requirements and leverage between ISO sites; 
  • Promote understanding of QMS and its scope and the Quality management system processes;
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate QMS risks – Perform risk assessment and risk management; 
  • Outline the requirement for reviews & changes to the QMS; 
  • Assure a global Quality Policy Statement; 
  • Assure Regular Management reviews of the QMS effectiveness; 
  • Review of Corrective and Preventative Actions (types, categories, volume and trends).
  • Assure the Associate Personal Identifiable Information (PII) by protecting the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the documentation
  • Identify and Implement the quality systems from a single defined QMS;
  • Assure an Annual QMS review; 
  • Create, evaluate, implement and update procedures, policies, strategies and QM systems
  • Evaluate Quality objectives and plan to achieve them; 
  • Establish and maintain a continual improvement of the Global QMS processes. As part of the QMS maintenance, there is a need to determine the risks and opportunities that can affect “product” conformity.
  • Internal Global audit planning & management and provide the focus, direction, and control for QMS audits.
  • Identify, log and track Nonconformity and corrective action in order to avoid possible recurrences 
  • Oversees and supports internal audits to assure SITEL meets customer and client’s qualities standards.

  • Perform QMS risk assessment and risk management.


To succeed in the role, you will need to have:

  • Proficient English level (C2 mandatory) written and spoken 
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously,
  • Ability to resolve problems and present appropriate business solutions and recommendations. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to work independently and with a cross functional team,
  • Excellent technical (MS Project, Word, and Excel) and math/statistical skills. 
  • Strong understanding of the call center industry and operations,
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment,
  • Demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships and interact with all levels of internal and external clients.
  • Must hold EU citizenship or valid work permit for Portugal
  • Be a local candidate or willing to relocate to Portugal


Education and experience

  • Preferable college degree or related work experience
  • Previous experience in customer services
  • Experience in ISO 9001 systems 
  • Two years of contact center management experience, and one year of demonstrated use of Lean Sigma,
  • Six Sigma, Project Management tools and methodologies, or equivalent experience.
